Advising Training On-Demand
AIS Advising training is now scheduled when you need it. Do you have a new employee who needs to have access and initial training? Are you a Super User who needs a refresher course in Program Plan Management? Are you a department manager and would like to schedule training for your entire department/unit? Advising and Degree Audit is pleased to announce Advising Training On-Demand.

To schedule training, please email ais-training@ucsc.edu. The AIS team will work with Advising and Degree Audit to custom fit your training needs.

Introduction to AIS Reporting (This is the first AIS, Cognos reporting class. To attend this class, you must have completed Class 1- Introduction to AIS. If you need Upfront training over the summer, you may attend a Thursday afternoon Cognos Open Lab Session at 2300 Delaware. Advanced Cognos Methods (This is the second AIS, Cognos reporting class focused on the UpFront and PowerPlay environments. To attend this class, you must have completed Introduction to AIS and Introduction to AIS Reporting.)

The open workshops are held at 2300 Delaware in the B279 Training Lab (upstairs, turn left at the end of the hall.)

Cognos Report Writer's Seminar (To attend the Report Writer's Seminar you must have completed in the Introduction to AIS Reporting class. To attend the Advanced Impromptu Class, you must have completed the Impromptu Report Writer's Seminar and have created an Impromptu Report.)
It is required that participants in any Impromptu training have PC access.

Upgrade Delta Training (AIS will upgrade the Student Administration System over the July 4th weekend. AIS will offer Delta training, focusing on new features and navigation changes. These new classes will be offered begining summer 2008.)
